    ^^^^ This.

I would absolutely love a consistent 500 kbps connection on VM with their $25 a month plan. I just ran speedtest a few times on my phone and I'm averaging around 20-50 kbps up and 100 or so down. If it ran 10-20x faster at 500 kbps I'd be so happy.

Also, I'm glad VM throttles data. It keeps it faster for the 90% of us that don't have to constantly be plugged into TV/Netflix 24/7.
    My toys:
-Samsung Intercept with 8GB Micro SD card, loaded up with tons of GBA games (Fire Emblem FTW!).
-Motorola RAZR V3m (Dark Pearl Gray) flashed to ViVo with COOL custom skins and all.
-Motorola E815 flashed to Bell and loaded with 100's of Java games!

Oh really? Ok. For some reason, I thought I saw/read somewhere that everything has a 3D effect, even the main screen/launcher..which if that's the case, would probably give me a headache if I used it for too long lol.

I think the 3d was originally setup that way, but you could still turn it on and off. Most people left it off.
I'm sure it would give me a headache, and that is if I could even see the 3d effect.

Despite companies trying to make 3d a "big thing" by ramming it down our throats, most people don't want it.

Virgin Mobile USA should include a FREE month of (your choice of service plan) with purchase of the New HTC EVO V.
If they allowed you to choose a plan for your Free Month, which would you choose???

I realize that's just a typo, but it still made me laugh. 3G does give me a headache sometimes, like when it's so slow that it may as well be off.

    How about grandfathered service?

    They already answered that question.

It's up to the individual subscriber to decide their service preference and by default their device options.

You can always choose to sell your current GF plan if you decide to upgrade to the newer devices.

It would be a good promotional offer if they did give current $25/BT 300 subs a 30 day window to upgrade to the new EVO V or choose a Free Month with the purchase of a new EVO V from the current plan options. Sprint/VM would probably sell out of EVO V's within a week.

From what I have been seeing, selling out won't be an issue.

They recently made an exception for the Optimus Elite, maybe a similar exception will be offered for the EVO V.

I would start requesting that on their FB and Twitter pages. It might just get to the right person if enough current BT/$25 subscribers request it. Also send Dan@Sprint.com a message ... wouldn't hurt.

There is almost zero chance with that happening.

Except, the ones who don't have the 4G available in there area are stuck and can't upgrade phones because they'll be forced to pay too.

Edit: My point is, the 4G data should of been an add on so those that don't have it available can still enjoy an upgraded phone.

Except that WiMax is only available in 26 or 28 states, Sprint has already paid Clear for access that they have now abandoned and they have stated that they will neither develop any more WiMax handsets and will not build the system out any further, and will be completely done with WiMax by 2015. Even if you do have 4G it's just going to get you to the 2.5 GB cap that much quicker. Having 4G on Virgin is costing Sprint nothing as they have already abandoned WiMax. And finally if it was a matter of paying for 4G service how come the 3G only Elite also loses the grandfathered plan if they activate after May 26?

    This is what you believe?

Question #1: How much money has Clearwire made?

Question #2: How much money has Sprint invested in Clearwire Corp.?
    Sprint: $40.99 - $73.00 per month
Sensorly Maps: Sprint LTE active in 26 States
