The One V seems like a pretty decent entry- to mid-level phone for USCC. Will be interesting to see how they price it.

I haven't seen this here yet...sorry if it's a re-post.
The USCC twitter account said this yesterday:
We're excited to be one of those carriers! RT: @slashgear HTC One V headed to several USA carriers http://bit.ly/J7Yer7 @HTCUSA
As you see, it was in response to the HTC One V coming soon. I was excited at first, but i realized that of the 'One' branded HTC phones, the 'V' is the weakest of the bunch. I was hoping for the X...maybe soon?
I also caught this on pcmag.com....it's a screen capture of a Samsung page showing a sign-up for the Galaxy S III, and USCC is listed as a carrier to choose from. So this may be coming soon too? Wait and see I guess...

Huh, the One V would be great for under $100 on contract. It's got Android ICS after all.
I think that the second half of the year we will see a flood of Android devices featuring ICS. From various manufacturers at different times and a variety of price points.
Lets just hope that there is some nice quality handsets for people to choose from.
If its an LG I have used it at one point or another maybe have even broken a few..
Believe in Something Better.........
I was in a store the other day and overheard someone talking about a new Android device thats coming out possibly around august but I didn't hear if it was a Motorola or LG. The guy had said it was going to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and had a 4.3 inch screen that was bright enough to see outside other than that he didn't really know much about it. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything else about this or has anymore info..
Think it is the Samsung Galaxy S III?
USCC got the Galaxy S fairly quickly (for USCC standards) after it was initially released in the US.

Possibly Huawei (doesn't a phone from Huawei get everyone's juices flowing?)

Could be the Electrify 2, it's supposed to come out this year as well.

Droid is a Verizon trademark isn't it? Could call it the Electrify RAZR I guess.
It's not really about "keeping" it 4G. Verizon's 4G version of the phone runs on a different frequency than US Cellular's, so they have to put a different chip inside the phone. Supposedly there is a chip shortage going on and the chips that US Cellular needs are on order. The rumor has it, this is why we haven't been seeing many 4G phones being launched?
So if this is true, Motorola will just take the 4G chip out of the RAZR and just sell it as a 3G phone for us. Just like how the Photon/Electrify was.
I had also heard that the problem is chip shortages because Samsung is the sole supplier for the proper LTE chipsets for phones to work on USCC network at the moment. That will change later on this year I hear though. Thats why the first LTE devices to launch were Samsungs from what I had heard.
