If you have an account setup on their site, you can reactivate the phone from there. I often let my service run out and reactivate my phone the next day. I'm using the sim swap, not the BYOD so it may be different but I don't see why it should.

yes i had the account setup and did activate my exist simcard and it reactivated my service. it took about 2 mins reactive my service.
Technically they can recycle your number any time after your service has been deactivated. At least thats what the csr told me one time. Ive gone several days without reactivating before and havent lost my number yet but im not chancing it anymore. They should give you 30 days like most other carriers.

All prepaid carriers give 30 days before you lose your # with the exception of Simple Mobile (only on $60 plan = 90 days), T-Mobile, and Page Plus which is 150 days from what they advertise on their website. Even postpaid doesn't hold your # for long - I had a friend who didn't pay his bill with Verizon when he went away and within 90 days his # was recycled and now someone else has his #. So from what I've seen - it's either 30 days or 90 days for most, but 30 is the minimum.
I asked facebook support, they said 30 days.
I can confirm the same experience after two lapses last year. Use the website.
Last year I'd called to cancel a test line and after it was completely disconnected, I attempted to activate a different phone and SIM card on the website-- the website more or less instantly turned the disconnected one (wrong sim, wrong info, NOT what I'd just entered) back on with its old phone number,
