what if MetroPCS becomes the Monthly 4G options. T-Mobile with MetroPCS... sort of like the old T-Mobile with Voicestream logo or something like that.

    Speculations do become reality..

**** will become real real quick in a couple of month..

    Side note:
Leap is a CDMA carrier, which would make any merger more complicated. Leap has a market value of roughly $400 million and $3.2 billion of long-term debt.

I can see that happening until they have dual chip sets and integration but for now they would split and handle it like they did with Sprint/Nextel until they can merge both tech. together, but w/ LTE it would not matter.

I hope that this goes like the Bell/Virgin deal over in Canada. Metro goes HSPA+/LTE and still would be its own separate company. I would like that idea to happen.

hahaha, I'd vote for a new name entirely though.

like Sepurb Wireless, you know... something the women are going to swoon over.

So what are the consequences, good and bad of this happening? Cause of cost and credit checks I really do count on metro lol..and so far at least (that I can see) Metro has the nicest phones for a prepaid carrier..

Well i think metro did a smart move selling to tmobile instead of sprint. Well now we just have to see what happens after they merge.

    Another thing to consider:

If the sale of ANY company is imminent, the company to be acquired does not do a presentation at an "investor roadshow" or a conference... Any upcoming presentations they may have, are canceled.

The conference referenced below, is scheduled for this coming Thursday, May 17.

Im all for the deal. alot of people saying this will ruin metro and its not true do ya really think t-mobile is dumb enough to screw things for the customers still on metro if they did that would mean they would lose all of us and whatever money they spent buying out metro would of been a waste. so in my opinion if t-mobile buys metro our coverage would greatly increase that im sure of. now our 4g status? that is any1's guess.

Exactly. The 4G status. We get a peak of 5. If metro is bought in a couple of months well have peeks of probably 30 or more
