I ran a check for updates on my mom's phone and it began downloading an update, but it got stuck at 10% and I cancelled it. Of course, in AT&T's stingy fashion, once you checked for updates you can't retry for 24 hours. Has anyone else with an AT&T Avail tried to update?
If you go into your settings and manually set the date and time of your phone for a day or more in the future, you can immediately retry the update. Afterwards then you can correct the date/time. I have done that several times when an update got stuck..... for some reason stuck and botched updates seem common.
