    Isn't that true for all businesses? Customer loyalty and customer satisfaction pay off in terms of return business and word-of-mouth advertising. VM could have just told all of "their oldest customers" that they would be getting a rate hike just like netflix did. They could bump everyone up who buys a new phone, similar to what verizon is doing with data. VM decided to take a different approach.

    As a non g'fathered customer, I still think VM is a great buy at $35. I went into this with my eyes wide open: they aren't committed to give me a certain price..I'm not committed to staying with them.

    The Elite isn't 4G, but neither is the upcoming EVO One V. The newest phones get the newest plan prices. It's not that surprising.

    Would anyone with a grandfathered plan who is dissatisfied with it like to give it to me? I'll take it!
