I'm fairly certain apple was selling refurb OG iPads until recently. Plus I paid damn near $700 for a new iPad 3G only 2 years ago. I expect this stuff to last longer than this. I stick with iPhones because the dock connector is nice in the car and at home; but I've got no loyalty on the tablet front.
They have purchase 3 leading edge Map technology companies over the last few years.... what ever they build it will likely bet different than what we have now... However I suspect there will be a lot of equivalent features to what google is doing on android.
Yeah i have heard of it. The rumor is that they want to compete with google maps, but i guess apple's maps are quite cool, They give 3D experience and it have lovely graphics. I guess Apple's maps are quite organized and centralized to use.
After iTunes Match launched this time last year, there was evidence that the then-unreleased service would allow users to stream their music from the cloud without actually having to download the song file. It turned out that users could listen to the song while it was being downloaded, but no streaming, at least the widely agreed upon definition of it, was in place.....read morehttp://applekom.blogspot.com
Yeah. But according to me, it seems to be an business strategy of Apple. He is preserving his all new updates for its next release Iphone5, There are many hot rumors are coming for Samsung for patent theft of Iphone5 and using it for Samsung galaxy S3. So this might be preserved to create bang for its next release.
I'll share my experiences with ios6 beta2 on my 3GS. First i'd like to say that there are a few nice UI enhancements that i like but besides that and the passbook app nothing is changed from ios5 on ios6 on the 3GS.
Here ill show you some of the problems ive discovered...
I was playing music in the music app and when rotating the screen this happened
Well that's real cute! So then i look at the memory usage and see this
That explains it, There's no more memory left!!! I close the music app and now it shows this
SO it seems there is buggy memory management or memory leaks or both. Looks like there's still some bugs to be ironed out yet
"Oh Peter I absolutely love what you've done with the place... It's so sterile, so bland, so wonderful!"
YouTube App on iOS no longer there after iOS 6 Beta 4 update.
Has anyone the privilege of participating in the beta program? Can you if your YouTube app is now removed too? It appears to no longer be there on my installation on both iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
Looks like we're going to have rely on an official app from Google in the near future... which is fine by me, but Apple just started incorporating the share features in iOS 6 that were once missing.
If you discover any other new features or missing old ones, share them here.
I'm not going to lie, I hope I'm wrong, I've grown to like that little app.
EDIT: Looks like as I was posting this, theverge.com was busy getting a statement from Apple as they noticed too. LINK to TheVerge
Apple's Statement here: Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
