The large problem I see in the future, is the quality of mapping information. I use apple maps on iOS beta and what definitely doesn't work properly are the mapping information (duplicates, wrong pin position, ...)

Looks like we're going to have rely on an official app from Google in the near future... which is fine by me, but Apple just started incorporating the share features in iOS 6 that were once missing.

If you discover any other new features or missing old ones, share them here.

I'm not going to lie, I hope I'm wrong, I've grown to like that little app.

EDIT: Looks like as I was posting this, theverge.com was busy getting a statement from Apple as they noticed too.

Apple's Statement here: Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
Relax, it's being replaced by a view made with HTML5! HTM5 is an updated version of the antiquated HTML, and is much better. Google is currently developing for it's use. Have you seen recent Google search pages with the guitar playing, that's an example of HTML5. http://html5video.org/ Is an example, and that is the much better future.

Actually, you see great video players now all the time so when you see a video, right click and notice what you see. In the future you will watch streaming video on the net that uses HTML5.

i don't know if someone has already brought this up but a feature ios should get is "app auto launch"

we plug different accessories into our iphones that are tied to specific apps. it would be nice if when we plug in an accessory that the accompanying app automatically launches without us having to go and launch it ourselves. for example i have the fm transmitter that is controlled by an app on the phone. i want to be able to plug my transmitter and the app just loads up. it seems very logical to me. also I just bought a new toyota with entune/apps and every time i want to use the apps on the head unit i have to first launch the app on phone. again it would just be nice if i plug in the phone and the entune app on the phone just connects.

it may seem like a minor thing but to me, it's how it should work.
