So what do you guys think? Which is the best model for Direct Talk? What is the best overall Nextel phone? Thanks.

I recall a few years back the discussion about this and the i325s had the best reputation because of the fixed antenna. However, I had the cousins, the i315, and the Push To Talk switch would stick on one of mine. Further research seemed to indicate that this was a common failure point on the i315/i325s. Fast forward to now and I agree that either the i355 or i365 with a fixed antenna would be the best for Direct Talk. With the shutdown of Nextel iDen service, I would think that they might practically give these away!
Coincidentally, I have been considering getting another unit for Direct Talk myself. I have a pair of i580s and a pair of i670s. I think one of them is no longer working properly, so I may just get a replacement.
For some reason I can't seem to edit right now, anyway it looks like after SouthernLINC the other US iDEN users are a comparatively small number. I have actually also considered a used Motorola Titanium because of the Android functionality. It, too, has Direct Talk, but I suspect the range would be less than an i365 with a fixed antenna.
