How long ago was your last topup on the $25 plan?

My landline rang and it was VM telling me that they just gave me a free month that starts today! Sure enough my LG V works and I am still grandfathered at $25.00 after that!
The funny part is typing my new gmail password using the tiny screen compared to what I've gotten used to with my Samsung note (5.3 in)!
The price of a smartphone is $650. That's not gonna persist.
Dennis Woodside, CEO of Motorolahttp://www.androidauthority.com/moto...rategy-220042/Rolfe Winkler of the Wall Street Journal also thinks that these fighting words from Woodside should have “executives at Samsung shaking in their boots.” He also thinks that “folks at Apple should also be sweating.”

They did the same thing to me on my $25 account back in February. I stopped topping up in November when I moved over to tmobile. That was very nice of them but at this time I still have no intentions of going back to them.
To this date my account still remains with my number active just needing funds.

I can't remember the last time a CON-tract or post paid phone received a free month of service.Originally Posted by CA

CON-Tracts??? We don't need no stinking contracts!
Hey, Yesterday I got a postcard about it in the mail too!![]()
I got this on one of my $25 plans. I only top up every 2-3 months. They also gave me a $15 promo credit when topping up with at least $10. I top up just about every 90 days just to keep the $25 plan active.

Check your e-mail(s), if you have a dormant or expired VM account. I recently received a $20 Top-Up bonus code from VM (good with purchase of a minimum $20 Top Up) for a back up PayLo phone that gets little use.

When did you sell it and did you use Ebay? I sold mine about two weeks ago locally on CL for $85. Don't like selling that much on ebay plus I feel kind of bad charging $100+ to someone to use Virgin Mobile. The girl I sold it to already had been using VM (broke her phone or something) and she used a Triumph so I figured that she had already been through the worst they can offer![]()
Yes, I used eBay. I sold my plan a while ago, or in March (to be more exact). My offer was actually the least expensive one at $130, plus I threw in one month with 300 minutes.
The guy I sold it too was already paying $35 a month, so he was more than happy to buy this plan off of me.
The money I wrote about before ($110) was what I got after eBay and PayPal fees.

Virgin Mobile should include a Free Month of service with the purchase of every Beyond Talk smartphone. It would definitely outperform competing offers within the prepaid wireless sector. Sprint prepaid has successfully used that Free First Month Service with purchase offer in the past and can duplicate that success with all new VM products too.
