Take the Fascinate to a retail store for assistance.

Basically what happened is my son was attacked by a spider and he accidentally dropped his HTC Incredible. It completely broke the screen.
I've had a Samsung Fascinate that hasn't been used for a while. It's a new phone that Verizon sent me about a year ago when my Fasc. wasn't working, but I had bought an iPhone to use instead. I went on Verizon.com and activated/switched his phone to the Fascinate. Unfortunately for some reason when I started the Fascinate, it wasn't really working at all.
I called tech support last night and she had a few numbers changed, etc., so the Fascinate is now listed as HIS number. I tried to call *228 and it seems to be calling Alltel for some reason, and obviously it isn't being programmed, etc.
Does anyone have any idea of what I need to do here?

If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??
Sarcasm is a fine art...
"Don't believe everything you think"
It's not a matter of if you win or lose, it's how you assign the blame
Or to a place that is native Verizon coverage not Alltel. I think that *22881, *22882 etc still works to force the phone to try other services.
Ok, I actually held down the power button, turned off data usage; then used *228, and it worked fine. THanks for all the help everyone.
