If you have to get something right now and stay on USCC, then I'd get the Aviator. You won't want to be stuck using a 3G only phone until 2014!

Gps issue, US Cell version has same problem on majority of phones. Sprint still doesn't have a 100% working fix. Leads me to believe hardware problem.

Display preference is subject to opinion. Not sure where you're coming from saying the Electrify has a crappy screen. I don't like the AMOLED screen you have on your SGS2. Colors are over saturated. Brighter isn't always better. I prefer the super LCD displays.

GSII screen looks too catoonish to me and the white sucks on it. That is why Samsung hides their UI in black.

Most of the answers in a thread like this will be between the Electify and the SGS2...both phones are good I suppose, I have the Electrify and hate Samsung so I can't give you an unbaised answer. I would shy away from the Aviator, it's basically a repackaged Mesmerize.
My screen is bigger than yours
Get the following for these reasons...
Motorola Electrify - Best reception and/or if you don't like Samsung or HTC
Samsung Galaxy S2 - Biggest screen, thinner & lighter, or you want a white phone
Samsung Aviator - You are in a 4G area or will be soon and download speed is important
Samsung Mesmerize - It is low cost, somewhat bigger screen
HTC Merge - if you want a physical keyboard (I assume not since you have a Desire)
HTC Hero - if you want to stay with HTC at a low cost
I would not recommend anything that is not on this list.
Also, consider buying a used Desire for $70 or Mesmerize for around $80 to save your upgrade. This is a time to wait a 2-6 months for some amazing phones.

The Electrify is Super LCD? Really? I'm not entirely sure what type of display it is, but I do know that it is PenTile and that ruins it for me.

Thanks for all of the input. I would like to have the electrify but 300 dollars seems a little steep out of pocket up front.

Pentile is a longer lasting more durable screen. This is why Samsung is using it in the SIII.I'd take a
pentlie screen over all the problems and crappy reception with the HTC's.
