Price increases starting tomorrow

DAAAMMM!!! so metro just gave me more of a reason to go to Boost Mobile and get the HTC Evo!!

$299 HTC Evo> 379 LG Esteem...

idk what they were thinking but Metro seems to be in a real hole right now, kinda desperate looking

first putting down the price on the LG Esteem
then LG Connect comes up, LG Esteem prices raises
then Plans change, and its now $70 for the Unlimited plan (boost is 55 o_0)
and now all phones prices go up!!

ok ok lets play a game, what Metros next A-hole move? lol

not to keep spinning the rumor top, but that new $70 plan is very T-Mobile like.

if I remember correctly that's the price of their 5GB plan. This change could make it easy for MetroPCS to be absorbed since I doubt T-Mobile would adopt MetroPCS' model.

Typo..smartalk is right...those is the price for the 2.....they magicaly are gonna boost up sales this way....smh........the stocks went super down on monday...its looking real bad for metro.

Well, it looks like my time with Metro is done. It was great while it lasted, only got better with time, but like any corporation nowadays, they eventually screw their loyal customers in the end by doing exactly this (cable and electricity companies definitely come to mind - a different amount owed every month, consistent price increases, all with the services staying the same or getting worse - add Netflix into the mix as well).

As I have said time and again, I can afford to go with an AT&T or Verizon, but why when there is (about to be was) a company that offered exactly what I needed/wanted, and all for a flat fee that was much cheaper than the aforementioned?

This is terrible but the way life is now. I thank you all for the information.

does this mean our phones worth more now to sell? lol and boost mobile isnt really much of a competition towards metro unless u just want a phone to talk and txt lol in other words sorry i need my data speeds to be faster than 300kbps.

Lol everyone is different, but you can't say boost is not much of a competition...idk how fast sprint/boost 4g is but for my simple web browsing it should be good and I'm pretty sure is more than 300kbps lol also with the Evo for less money than the Esteem and connect, better coverage, my sis left metro because of that,also with the shrinking plans you can go from $55 end up paying $45 for unlimited everything....all I'm saying is that with moves like this boost mobile is a bigger competitor than you think.....

On another note I produce as well I'm on the phone but when I get on the computer i'll listen to your work and post mines so you can hear it too

dam nice work man, i like that "cant stop us" brings out a grimy mood like "dangerous minds" those..

heres mines i got 4 tracks here i got more on facebook and working on an instrumental mixtape too http://soundcloud.com/beatz-by-spark-1 oohh and 1 question, why ya named that track "4get it asian style" LOL! i thought it was going to sound different but its jamming....

and to keep on topic, i checked the metro pcs site and its true Esteem 376 smh charging more than when it first came out that likely means the Esteem will be the top phone for a long time, i really doubt they will bring out a better phone with higher price, even tho Esteem is pretty dam nice would be nice to have one like that with dual-core processor

You will soon. The ZTE Arthur should be out in July. I've used one for a bit, it's pretty nice. Built in Wifi tether from Metro Don't know whats entailed in that plan though.
