1/2 PRICE promo -?

I saw this on RFD. I wonder if anyone else heard about this. It would be a great deal.


Hey guys so after hanging out at the downtown Mobilicity dealer location for a bit today I got the inside scoop that Mobilicity is bringing back their 1/2 off plans promo in time for their 2nd year anniversary! This time it also includes the data plan (for the data sticks/mobilie hotspots)!!! Super Duper HOT!!! Plan has to be set up with PAC (pre-authorized credit) and is good for 1 year, available from 17 thursday- 20 sunday may! Not sure if existing customers can migrate to this plan as the dealer had limited information that he wanted to share, ill update as soon as I can get more info. Amazing deal considering you can get an unlimited talk and text and data plan for only $17.50 ($19.77 after tax) /month for upto 1 year!!! I will assume it is available all across GTA, but can only confirm for the downtown dealer location.

The question arises: Will they reintroduce the infamous $25BTS plan again after the 1/2 year plan finishes?

77$ for one year isn't worth switching over if you have BTS25 with 2$off.

Oh wait, this half promo includes new plans at half price. calling features included... hmmmmmmm now thats a thinker.

If this promo is for real it would be a great deal, but for people on 25BTS plans which are for life this promo is only for a year, something to consider.

It is true, starting on May 17- May 20 only. You must sign up for PAC, and if you already had the promo before you cannot get it again(1 year of 50% with PAC, not the 6 months without PAC). Open to existing customers who sign up for PAC, does not apply to BTS or F&F plans. Yes data only plan for stick is included.

No, you are wrong.

1. Port-in credits are for new subs
2. Existing promos are both BOTH new and existing subs.
3. The 1/2 price off promo is actually port in credits. (without the actual requirement to port in)
4. Data only plans are still there and they are eligible for 1/2 price off.
5. New big3 follower: Wind.

So that either means, the restrictions only apply to new activations or the discount only applies to new activations. One of those doesn't make sense.

Mobi is turning into Wind offering discounts to new customers only, screwing over existing ones.
