    1. Port-in credits are for new subs
    2. Existing promos are both BOTH new and existing subs.
    3. The 1/2 price off promo is actually port in credits. (without the actual requirement to port in)
    4. Data only plans are still there and they are eligible for 1/2 price off.

So that either means, the restrictions only apply to new activations or the discount only applies to new activations. One of those doesn't make sense.

Mobi is turning into Wind offering discounts to new customers only, screwing over existing ones.
Existing customers with a non-suspended account may call in and get the 50% Off promo for their regular paying account with a credit card on PAC. You have to do it yourself and no store can do it for you.

Is this deal from the promo last forever?

$55 (discounted to $27.5) plan and $35 (discounted to $17.5) plan seem lot better than $35 and $25 F&F plan. Should I give up my long-last F&F plans and changed to the discounted $55 and $35?

    Basic Features:
    Local Talk
    Province Wide Long Distance
    Caller ID
    North American Text

    $35 plan (aka. $17.5)
    Voicemail
    Global Text
    Canada Wide Long Distance
Light Data (Social Networking + Email or BBM + Email)
15 Minutes North American Voice Roaming

    $55 plan (aka $27.5)

As above, existing customers should be able to make the switch by calling in.
In the AWS/cellular context, TAFL is Industry Canada's list of all base stations in operation, as submitted by the spectrum licensee the month prior.

The underlying database is Industry Canada's Assignment and Licensing System (ALS)
A subset of the ALS is published monthly as the Technical and Administrative Frequency Lists (TAFL)
Real-time access to the AWS/cellular data of ALS is provided by Spectrum Direct's (SD) Geographical Area Search
