Top-up credit expiry time?

Hi guys,
I`m asking for an opinion. on the PC mobile site it says that topping up your account before balance expiry carries forward the unused balance.
If I currently have on my a balance of 20$ which is expiring on Aug,2012. Now, If I add $100(the later top-up amount, if unused expires in 365 days);my new balance of $120 dollars, when it will expire? On May,2013 or August,2013? I believe it should be August,2013,but apparently it`s May 2013.

The expiry time will be that of your top-up. So, if you top up now, the expiry time will be May 2013. If you wait until your current balance is about to expire and top up in August 2012, your expiry will be in August 2013. Yes, you have to wait it out to get the maximum benefit of a top-up.
