If you are looking for Unlimited Minutes go with ChatR as they use Rogers network. If you just need to be reached but dont require unlimited minutes then try "SpeakOUT" from 7-11 as all theri "top up" cards ($25-100) have a 365 day expiry.
I cracked & signed up with Telus. I couldnt resist the Free Phone, $300 airtime credit, and EPP ($20+tax : 350mins, unlimited early evngs /wknds, cd, vm, unlimited NA txts, NO SAFS or 911) With the $300 credit its like having a free year of phone service.

But overall they both use the same AWS band so they more or less are similar as far as penetrating buildings if compared to the big 3.

    Line 1: MMo45 for $30/M
    Line 2: Wish40 for $35/M
    Line 3: Wish40 for $35/M
    Line 4: Wish40 for $35/M

    ChatR is great !
So the Network is the same. Then I will pick up the Chatr 35$ Plan. 100 MB is perfect for me . Cant find unlimited calling on any other network. Since Chatr, Mobilicity and Wind Mobile are the Only one offering Unlimited, I will get that.
    Following is my requirement

    1 ) Unlimited Incoming & Outgoing
    2 ) 300 SMS
    3 ) 50 MB Data

Thats all what I need !

$35 doesn't have any data. Its only text and voice. $45 is with 100MB data. A pointer, when you go to the booth asking about this plan. Ask them about what will happen to the Customer service issues cuz starting July 1st chatr will be demolished or merged with fido.

Msnwireless.ca resells belus service. Their $35 plan is canada wide unlimited talk text vm cid.

Their customer service seems to be overseas, would not tell whose network they use.

It seems to be a new company since no bbb review was available.

Are you sure. What will happen to the plans then ? They are pushing the chatr brand though by offering 80$ bonus

That essentially makes it $35 for 8 months but ok.

Interesting. Unlimited talk (+Canadian long distance)/text for $22 + $35 for Unlimited (?) Smartphone data. If running on Bellus network then that's a deal but kinda risky unless it was prepaid.

Also "*** ACTIVATION REQUIRES A DONATION OF 2 CANNED FOODS OTHERWISE $15 ***".
Then we have legal consultation, pain relief therapy, and immigration advice included.... WTF

    Very interesting company.

EDIT: MSN Wireless is a Mobilicity reseller.

Fido, Koodo and virgin offers unlimited calling as well! But their unlimited is at $50. You wont find these on virgina nd Fido's site. But go to a kiosk, these plans exist!

In Alberta, BC, SK and eastern ontario, quebec, and maritimes, Koodo, Virgin will be very good.
In Manitoba, Northern Ontario, the best network to use is Fido / Rogers.

There's this thing called the internet, sometimes I use it to go to company websites to look up product info and prices and features and get support and stuff. I dunno, call me crazy but it just might work for you.

I wonder if anyone has tried setting up call forwarding and using something like Koodo with Unlimited Incoming?
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.

I have. If you forward the call to outside your home area, an LD charge of 35 cent/min applies, even if you have canada-wide LD plans. Your minutes are not deducted when you call-forward. Calls forwarded to a local number is free.

Thats why they also have a flex internet addon. Now, you pay $5 for 25MB. After that, till 300 MB is $10. ... $30 gives 3 GB. However, inside his basement, there is bound to be wifi, so this is not needed.
