I found a seller (not Tracfone itself} who's selling the LG 800G at a decent price. Seller says it comes with 1200 minutes. How can they do this? Do they ship a a 400 Minute/1 Year of service card (X 3 + 1200 minutes) along with the LG 800G? Or is done some other way? Thanks
It is done in several different ways. It depends on the seller. Sometimes you get a regular card, sometimes you get a pin that is locked to that phone's serial number, sometimes it is something else. Ask the seller.
Is it shopcelldeals on ebay/amazon? Very reliable seller.

Seems like I read about a seller in a different thread here making that offer. Doesn't mean it's new. He might have just applied that many refill cards to get a balance like that.

No, the seller is shopcelldeals and he explains in the listing how the minutes are applied.
The LG800 he sells is TMFL so it wouldn't be multiple refill cards. It would be one 400 minute card or a pin. It can be figured out from the ebay listing.

Actually I just posted on this a little while ago asking how to use up the 1212 minutes i left.
My father actually bought it from HSN and they gave him a 400 minute card with 1 year and triple minutes for the life of the LG 800 phone. That's what gave him 1200 minutes plus whatever from Tracfone themselves. By the way, not thrilled with the phone itself.

The OP said the seller is shopcelldeals on ebay. See post #4.

Menu (blue die) > Settings > Phone > Information > Device Information > S/W Version
S/W Version: V10e, but why is that important? Keep in mind that I (myself) haven't used Tracfone in 10 years and I didn't use my fathers Tracfone at all.

And graveboss, if your father isn't thrilled with the LG 800, he hasn't tried any of the other Tracfones.
He wasn't thrilled with any of them that he looked at. But he just wanted a cellphone for very light voice use. Now of course he has changed over to AT&T GoPhone.
