Which android smartphone should I get?

It's come to light that I can upgrade. My brother got a new smartphone paid in full and doesn't need his upgrade.

I have the Thunderbolt. Like it but it needs improvement. A lot. Bad battery life with extended and always dropping my data connection. Time for a new smartphone!

Let me give you some tips on my usage:
-I use an ipod for music, not my phone
-android only please
-live in a 4G area
-need reliable Internet that won't have a bad or shaky connection
-watch netflix sometimes
-tethering sometimes
-is there ANY smartphone out there with decent battery life?

If you want it now, check out the Rezound and Razr Maxx, both highly rated, the Maxx having a big battery.

Do a hands-on in the store if you can.

Turning an account sync on solved my connection issues. I recommend this.

I would put the MAXX as the first choice for Verizon. You really cannot beat that godzilla battery. All while keeping a relatively sleek and visually appearing package. Second choice would be the Galaxy Nexus if you're into Android purity hardcore as well as a larger screen. The Incredible 4G will be extremely fast, though you only got a 4" screen here.

Ended up going with the Maxx. Battery is key for me now. Nexus is cool but I really need something that won't crap out on me.
