I haven't seen it officially but what I saw the iPhone stayed the same. Basic went down a little, but not a ton. Smartphones in general are better. Looked like MBB was down pretty considerably though.Everything is pretty much flat across the board, no longer based on plan. Basic phones are a flat rate, same with smartphones other then still having Tier 1-4, but not based on plan itself. AMF is going away.
I know. It's been terrible. Vzw wanted to slow the upgrade train - mission accomplished.
Get out of wireless! I'm so much happier now.
THe loss of annual upgrades and the lack of any phone with buzz is a problem. Seems like the biggest buzz right now is the LifeProof cases. Get a good demo of an iPhone going for a swim and those things will fly out the door. Never thought I would see something knock ottebox off its pedestal this quickly.
Anyway, now is the time to come up with plan B for your business. Seems essential to come up with another product line besides wireless, things are getting toommoditized.
I've never seen a June this soft! No hot products, unfriendly customer policies, annuals gone - it's one of the toughest stretches I've ever seen!
This month is reasonable, one of the keys is to use the loss of unlimited data as a closing tool. Albeit that is a short term solution, it is a money maker.
With ths share everyting, getting people to add a data card might be easier next month.
Getting a good line on used devices is also going to be important as well.
No doubt, this is a scramble.
