    SH-01B: Hypersim problem

When I was out today I noticed that my SH-01B showed a crossed out sim so I took my SIM card out and back in. It said I have to "Insert/Recheck UIM". I thought it got weird again like it sometimes does so I put the card into a normal cell phone and then put it back in again. It showed up the same sign. I even tried it with my girlfriends' sim but it's still the same.
Could it be that my Hypersim doesn't work anymore? Is this even possible? Or could it be another problem?

Probably. Try putting the hypersim+sim into a local phone. If it doesn't recognize, hypersim is probably dead D:

My local phone never recognized my SIM card together with my hypersim so that wouldn't work anyway. :/ When I wanted my signal back I just put my SIM card in a local phone and back in the SHARP with the hypersim and the signal worked again. Well then... How could it doesn't work it anymore? I mean... I didn't drop it to the floor or something. What could be the reason?

Upon removal of the hypersim from the phone, sometimes they're just that fragile and they break when not careful. Of course after you break like 5 or 6 hypersims in a month you'll get a good feel of how much pressure to use when trying to remove them.

    It's all good (^_^)

Is that why you have a box full of them?
