There are still millions of wireless subscribers that are looking for no-frills telephones for making phone calls. You know "cell phones"...$50 though
Optimus V could be had at that price.$50 is a bit on the high side when compare to the S2100, maybe it will be a better overall product than the current Kyocera S2100 flip phone.

Samsung has produced good basic phones in the past for Virgin/PayLo and this should be no different.

I know, but I was comparing the 'feature phone' to a smartphone. A phone like this should be $30 max by today's standards.
The Samsung M340 / Mantra was $9.99 with free shipping for the longest time, now that was worth it!
