Been on Sprint a week and while it was fine the first few days, now the areas that I got it for(where Sprint has 3G and T-Mobile only EDGE) are approaching dial up speeds and EDGE data would be a nice boost there.

So I know I'm still in the 14 day window to return, but what about the number I ported it? So I would need an active account to port, and if I port while the account is still active, it should automatically cancel my account. Would a port from another carrier trigger an early activation fee even if I'm still in the 14 days? As long as I return the phone in that time, will the ETF still be waived, even if I don't do the cancellation directly through Sprint?
