Angry Net 10 Android Us Cellular Can Not Call My New Number

I recently purchased a new Samsung Proclaim Android from Net 10. My friends and family that have Us Cellular can not call my new number. It just keeps saying call can not be completed as dialed. They can, however, text me from Us Cellular. Verizon and ATT can call my number. Net 10 says it is us cellular, Us Cellular says it is att. Any suggestions?

1 Can you call out and get through to your friends that have US Cellular? (Is this just a one-way problem?)

2 Are they calling by retrieving your number stored in their cell or by actually keying in the numbers? Is the call rejected using both techniques or just one technique but the other gets through? Does directly dialed get through but retrieved from phone book does not?

3 Does your area require 10 digit dialing (include area code) or 7-digit dialing (do not include area code)?

4 If from their cell's phonebook, does their phonebook automatically store entries with "+1" preceding the number? That may be the way US Cellular receives the number into their phone, and then regenerates it on the way out and your phone doesn't handle it.

Hopefully that would be it because that's an easy problem to solve.

Seems like the only problem is voice calling from US Cellular to you and everything else works. Post back with answers and we can hopefully take it farther.

    1. Only one way problem. I can call them, they can't call me.
2, 3, & 4. They have tried to dial it every way imaginable, they can not get through. Just keep getting the message, this call can not be completed as dialed.
Problem is Us Cellular calls to me!
    Suggestions?

You have a phone from Net10's "CO" market, which means it's a CDMA phone. I believe this is correct.

Go to wirelessamberalerts.org and put in your phone number. It won't sign you up for anything. See which carrier you have. Then maybe we can get somewhere.

Make sure you didn't accidentally block any numbers. You would be surprised how easily this can happen. If you don't have your glasses on, you can mistake call back and call block (at least I have done this).

I guess the other thing would be to call Verizon.

Why would US Cellular blame AT&T? The phone is on the Verizon network.
Did you port a number from a GSM (AT&T) phone to the new phone?

I'd ask US Cellular how AT&T factors into this. That may give some hints as to where the problem lies.
