i am getting tired of Mobilicity:
• Alexis and Otis are mostly static, inanimate characters except for the ONE commercial where Otis is on a spaceship.
• Cannot get a subsidy for a phone, meaning you have to pay it full price.
• Coverage is MUCH smaller than WIND: missing (at least in part) Abbotsford, Gatineau, Hamilton, Orléans, Whistler, etc. plus all the new WIND cities.
• Does NOT expand strategically, such as focusing on Atlantic/Prairies/Territories/etc. while WIND is expanding in British Columbia and Ontario.
• Even though the phone is purchased at the full price, Mobilicity's plans don't offer good value unless you take a one-year multi-month.
• Internet alone costs $40/month for an Internet stick, which is VERY expensive.
• Internet is throttled in such a manner that certain activities (like watching high quality movies) are basically prohibited on Mobilicity.
• Late in the game for Windows Phone.
• Not releasing as many phones as WIND, like the Bold 9790.
• Only one corporate store per city.
• Retailer partnerships (such as Mobilicity and Metro) have few exciting deals, are not in the flyer, and i didn't even notice Metrolicity last time i went to Metro!
• Some dealers closed their stores in Calgary and Ottawa, and potentially more cities.
• Teller fee of $3 every time you pay Mobilicity at the store, which is the only way to pay using cash.
• Top-up cards are unavailable, so you have to visit your local Mobilicity dealer which can be located much further than a WIND top-up dealer.
• Unlocking a Mobilicity phone with or without a fee is IMPOSSIBLE without a third party, although some phone (Nexus, Sony TM506, etc.) are factory unlocked.
• Wannabe WIND.
i could probably add a few more points if i really wanted to! i tried Mobilicity for over a year and it worked well, but i cannot take them seriously as a company. i hope WIND buys them, but keeps them as a non-flanker brand name (e.g: clearly indicateMobilicity with the power of WIND in the logo) for certain products such as perhaps Pay Your Way.

he also appears on Wind's advertisements.
i went to a Wind store in Meadowvale Town Centre and this guys (Alex Perrier) picture was on the Wind poster outside the store.

and this guy is annoying....
too much love for Wind sounds like he gets paid to do it....
Why is the default reaction to this sort of thing that someone's paid to say what they say? There are certain aspects of what AP says that I actually agree with but I disagree with the way he says it. As to the ads and him appearing in them, a few months before those ads were created WIND's media agency contacted certain people on the WIND forum who were asked to participate in a new campaign based around comments they had made on the forum. I know this as I was asked to participate, I eventually refused as I felt my comment was no longer valid and my opinion of WIND's Tab program had changed dramatically. I was forwarded the release paper work and it quite clearly states that there was to be NO financial compensation and that WIND owned the quote and voice recording and all rights were waived regarding use. Just because someone gets on their high horse and constantly berates Mobilicity does not make them a shill and to think otherwise is nothing more than paranoia. Yes, AP is annoying, but the last time I checked he had every right to say what he's saying.
I find this shite hilarious...
I'm with the laughing chimp... assuming that chimp is laughing and not passing gas.
Nothing spells entertainment better than a 30yr old virgin worrying about aliens on a space ship.
What---ev---rrrrrrrr
I think even wind subs cringe when they read his idiotic messages, just read mobile syrup and see how everyone hates him there (and here, and everywhere else by the likes of it). Maybe Mobi should put his face on one of their ads so he starts worshipping them too? But then again he could be scaring off all the the new customers (as evident by wind's poor performance of late).
I couldn't sleep last night knowing that there is a person out there who doesn't like Mobilicity.
