Thanks, trying to figure out how that would work...let's see, i go to the verizon store and test from there, then att store, lol. No fair, you can already do that, lol. Well, so what are the results? You are the competent judge here. Do you have multiple phones on each carrier? How are variations?
For the time and temp, it was 767-XXXX here in NorCal and 853-XXXX in SoCal, and in NorCal it was simply known as POPCORN. AT&T and Verizon actually discontinued the service here in CA back in 2007.

But wait a second? According wireless junkie GSM to CDMA never sounds good. I'm not saying other Verizon areas in the country are like mine. If I was to call trocks, I'm, sure the call would be clear as Verizon's network runs really well out there. My friend who has Verizon in Texas sounds fine. I've talked to many people on Verizon here in CT in the last year, and call quality was always muffled, and robotic sounding. It's gonna worse in the last few months.
Cry me a river....
Ah yes now I get it............... I'm sorry I shouldn't of made a valid complaint in this thread. Thank you so much for clearing that up.
No but my girl does, and my buddy as well, and I talk to them all the time. I run a small business as well and deal with many customers that use Verizon, and I've talked to reps in a local Verizon store that even admitted issues in the area, so yeah I think I'm qualified to discuss this issue. How bout making the thread useful? You aren't a Verizon customer so what can you do to contribute rather than useless digging?

AT&T Network - Hartford, CT Area----------------------Comcast Internet
Chester has a localized version of that number, but we're just close enough to STL to know what Weatherline is. I have a bunch of automated weather stations that I can call around me as well.
Yep, I've used Tell Me too, though with the weather and time readily available on my smartphone, pc and tablet, I really don't have much need to anymore, and those reasons are a big part of why the telephone companies discontinued the service.
