    ATT Sim Card

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am planning on using a Galaxy Note on StraightTalk and was wondering how to go about the SIM process. I am on Verizon and plan on switching over tomorrow, but my question is, is there anywhere locally (like Walmart) that I can pick up the ATT ST SIM from? I am going to be out of state and the only way I can think of this working is if I overnight the SIM from ST to the place I will be staying over Memorial weekend.

no, the sim can only be purchased from the straight talk website.
i think it can only be shipped to your home/ credit/debit card address only.

You could get one of the prepaid cards for $25 or so at Walgreens and then register it to your name and the place you are staying online, then overnight the sim card to that address.
Any left over balance you can change the address to whatever you want after that.

I might have to try this. Worse comes to worse I will just use a month of AT&T then switch over.

    Thanks for your help guys!

When you order a SIM, you have to sign for it, which means you either need to be home when it arrives or you need to pick it up at the Fedex depot.
Straight Talk unlimited everything plan for $45

It sucks, we have to sign a package worth 15 bucks? I've received packages thru fedex worth over 200 and do not require signature. I had to wait 3 days before they could deliver my package because I wasn't at home when they got here

A SIM card is potentially worth thousands of dollars of potential charges once activated. There is less of a potential for loss with prepaid cards since only $45.00 has been added to the account balance.

If you check the box asking them to ship via USPS then you don't need to be home to sign for it. I did this for an ordinary suburban residential address. Worked fine.

Since most deliveries are suspended during the holiday weekend, it does not matter what shipping method you use. It will not arrive before Tuesday at the earliest.
