Agreed on NetZero isn't picky on whether you live in a Netzero/Clear primary service area(if you dealt directly with Clear they might be more stringent). I got a message of "NetZero 4G Mobile Broadband is not available at this location. Please check the map below to see where service is available in your area." when I entered my home address. Since the NetZero modem was more for backup to my AT&T modem on my laptop when traveling or at work, I knew the NetZero modem would work where I needed it. Order went through just fine and they shipped it out to me very fast by Priority Mail.
I think the key thing is just to make sure the NetZero/Clear coverage will work for you where you need it. Even if it's only when you are away from home, or if you are in one of the scattered areas of coverage NetZero set up so they would keep their FCC licenses in certain markets, that's just fine.
Can anyone with the wifi hotspot confirm if you can bridge a wireless router to the hotspot?
I want to connect my DD-WRT router via wireless bridge to the netzero hotspot. Did anyone try?
The puck has a pretty robust .config panel. I think I saw Bridging as one of the options; dunno if it is confirmed to work. If you need it I can make a screenshot of the config for that and post it to you.
