I picked up the new Evo, pretty nice device. I notice in some 3G areas you are able to talk on the phone while connected to the Internet. Cool feature. Screen is great, though I prefer Super Amoled plus. Feels natural in hand. Data speeds over 3G are slow but Internet video like YouTube plays great. Overall a pretty cool device. I just wish I could stop dropping calls with sprint.

Yeah it's pretty cool. I do like that.
I love my One X. I'm sure you guys will love this device too especially if you like to watch Netflix on the huge screen.
Do you have the HTC OEM car dock for the One X? I see there are specific connectors for it on the One X, thus many are assuming there will/would have to be a EVO specific Car Dock from HTC.
I picked up the EVO specific car dock from Sprint today not knowing if or when HTC will offer an OEM Car Dock.
The HTC Evo 4G LTE is an amazing phone with a gorgeous screen and design as well, feels solid and feels light on the hand.
I have much better signal & battery life than my Touch Pro 2 ever had. Even connection over wifi speedtest does pretty well

and decent speeds over 3G in the afternoon

and even though its gettin 600k connection at home indoor with 2 signal bars where my touch pro2 would get no service, web browsing is very smooth!!!
Beats by Dr Dre do make a difference when listening to music on the phone, gives an extra crisp clean sound with nice bass
i haven't played much with the camera, i will be tomorrow when heading out to the beach and enjoying my memorial weekend.
How can you use net while on the phone? Without being on LTE/max/WiFi?
How did they do it?

while on the phone either go with bluetooth headset or speakerphone and without hanging up try browsing the web.
this article explains it well
http://insidesprintnow.wordpress.com...on-lte-phones/SVD – Simultaneous Voice & Data on LTE Phones
This is nothing new to most early-adopters of the HTC EVO 4G LTE, however there are some details released below that may be of interest – such as it’s obviously not guaranteed, and it does require certain conditions to work properly.
Sprint 4G LTE phones can acheive Simultaneous Voice and Data (SVD) when connected to a WiFi router.
They may also achieve SVD when connected to Sprint’s LTE or CDMA networks.
Sprint 4G LTE phone customers may not see a consistent SVD experience on Sprint’s networks based on numerous conditions.
SVD should not be guaranteed to our external customers.
SVDO is possible on Sprint’s LTE phones/handsets, without assistance of LTE or WiFi, utilizing 1x and DO.
Works only in optimal network conditions.
Experience not consistent with SVDO; in weaker coverage, voice will take sole priority.
SVD can be achieved with either LTE or WiFi coverage.
CDMA + LTE, or CDMA + WiFi should be the primary combinations to achieve simultaneous voice and data, as with previous phones/handsets.
If utilizing SVDO, the experience will vary, however, if in optimal conditions data speed will be consistent with EvDO speeds.
I'm getting a 4g signal
