It's seems kind of strange to go back in time and hear W speak out against "radical ideology of hate" because since then, his own Republican party has chosen to adopt that brand of vitriol as their own ideology since January 20 2009. Or perhaps it's not so strange, They've always tried to instill fear in an attempt to convince us that they're the only party capable of protecting this country. I guess the hatemongering is just another facet of their original fearmongering strategy.

The following is a comment left on another forum about how the billionaire Koch brothers financed the creation of the tea-party and then surreptitiously called it a grass-roots movement. It doesn't address the Koch brothers but it's something that you'll hear everyday on Fox News or any right-wing talk radio show and it does shine a light on how they and others like them think. ( To be clear, the comment is meant as sarcasm but I think it accurately represents right-wing values )

Obama gives so called ‘unemployment benefits’ to lazy, shiftless workers (which GOP congress will stop – go Senator Bunning!!!), while fighting against extending the much needed Bush Tax Cuts for the Wealthy. Disgusting! Our hard working Wall Street exec’s deserve better! Obamacare’s death panels are killing millions of our senior citizens. But the lame stream media won’t report that, just Fox News! He did a ‘Chicago style shakedown’ of innocent corporate citizen BP to clean up his oil spill in the Gulf and give 20 BILLION to help the stupid small people. We need the GOP and Newt Gingrich to stop the Obama 9/11 victory mosque being built at Ground Zero! Congressman Issa has pledged to use the subpoena power and start the Impeachment process to remove HUSSIEN once GOP takes power in November!
We will win cause negroes and latinos wont vote this fall, we will take back our WHITE House!

I think people who show disrespect are practicing bad form no matter who it's directed at. I remember when W had a shoe thrown at him and also when he walked onto stage to the Obama inauguration, you could hear someone in the crowd singing the song" na na na na, hey hey hey, good-bye". I cringed and felt bad for him on both occasions even though I disagreed with the legitimacy of his Presidency (because the vote count in Florida was stopped by the right-wing activist Supreme Court in the 2000 election. For those of you too young to remember, you might watch the movie "Recount". It pretty much sums up the whole event.)
