We'd prefer to keep the "wirelessly posted" portion but we'll see if removing the device info is possible.

Hello,
I have a question. I post to HoFo from a PDA-TYPE device. Without getting into the specifics of my particular device, it's detected as a wireless phone (which it's not) and consequently the "wirelessly posted..." message is shown. I'd just as soon not have this show up as it's not a device people recognize and indeed the device name actually contains some identifying information about the device. Is there any way to turn that message off on the WAP site?
We'd prefer to keep the "wirelessly posted" portion but we'll see if removing the device info is possible.
Fair enough. Though if you don't mind my asking, why would you prefer to not let users remove this message entirely? Right now I'm posting to HoFo using an iPhone app, so although this is a wireless phone, there's no message at all. It just seems that in certain cases (mine for instance) the message is a tad disingenuous.
Wirelessly posted (frail's: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B206 Safari/7534.48.3)
We would like to have some indication that people are using the WAP site.
Not sure if we can even turn any of it off as the WAP forums are powered by different software. I've asked Howard to look into it.
