The Desire is very weak as far as reception goes. Is your PRL up to date? ~USCC Customer Crew member~

I am hoping for some iPhone love too. So, would the mesmerize be a decent alternative to my desire?

Pioneer has the iPhone available now, if you're in an area that they service.

I was wondering if their PRL was up to date too...that seems like the first thing to try with something that could so easily be affected by that...

But how do they update it if it says they're roaming? I thought that could pull in the wrong data or something?

And to the post about Motorola...yeah, I always have the best luck with motorola for reception, reliability, and voice quality (plus I'd rather buy from an American company if possible anyway, but regardless of that I've had by far the best luck with them...and Nokia for reception too, but...)

I don't think it will pull any PRL while roaming, USCC or otherwise. Motorola is an American company for sure, but their phones are all made overseas, many in China, the now famous tagline "Designed in the USA, made in China".
