I might just bite and get a repeater/amplifier from Source as long as I can return it if it doesn't work. They're a few more bucks but as long as it works.

I finally got to try out my new iPhone 4s up north at my trailer a few days ago and this phone does pick up a signal a "little" better than the 3G I had but still not great. It's frustrating to say the least so I've been searching for something reasonable in price.
Has anyone here tried one of these?

For the price I'm thinking about at least giving it a shot.

I ended up ordering the Wi Ex SOHO 545 repeater off the web for $190 shipped. It's a repeater so hopefully this does the trick.
I know ours do , but if you read the disclaimer on most dealer sites they say you need at least 2 bars of donor signal . We have gotten around really bad signal areas by installing a direct connect amplifier inline to act as a pre-amp . This always solve the problem unless there is a terrain issue and signal just cannot physically get there.

As I mentioned, I would get back to this thread after installing the Zboost cell signal booster. Well, after 16 years of not having service up north I now get full 3G. It works great!
I'm even getting a satellite dish next week, so 16 years of next to no tv and inyernet access now! I'm not going to know what hit me. I won't ever want to come back home now!
