    ATT 3G vs Verizon 3G

What are the speed differences between the 2?

It will vary by area but from my experience AT&T has been faster especially since the introduction of HSPA+.

I forget the maximum that Verizon's 3G data can go, but I know that AT&T's theoretical maximum on HSPA+ is 14mb's and verizon is nowhere near that.

I'm on an iPhone 4 which has an older revision of the standard however I can and often see 5mb down and 1 to 2 mb up.
I buy broken/used iPhones (4 & 4S) on any carrier! PM me info about your phone and your asking price and I'll get back to you!

In 3G it's no contest, AT&T's HSPA easily double's the pace of EVDO Rev B on Verizon (and Sprint, for that matter). Where 1Mbps is a great speed on Verizon, you are more likely to see 2 to 4 Mbps or higher on AT&T.

Fyi, and doesn't change anything but Verizon has only Rev A. And 1 Mbps is not great, I average about 1.5 traveling all over. I am outdoors.

All my friends have verizon, mostly weird enough all have Droid 3s and the new Razrs. Watching YouTube on them is a nightmare. I ran speedtest.net on them one day to show them.our crappy Verizon's 3G is, and all of them barely went over 1Mbps. My infuse, while on hsdpa+ which is just enhanced 3G, will easily hit 7-9Mbps. My palm pixi which is on normal 3G will out speed Verizon's 3G.
