If you had to rate your satisfaction, from 1 being the least satisfied, to 10 being the most satisfied, what would you rate your experience with Republic Wireless?
Would you recommend Republic Wireless to others?
Have things improved recently? What changes have you seen?
T-Mobile. Connecting you when you need it most... disconnecting you when you need to connect with God's beautiful creation! Service is great in cities and highways, but in rural areas they leave you with just your surroundings. I encourage you to get T-Mobile, disconnect for a while!
I am glad that God is not like cell phone coverage. He does not hide behind mountains or loose us down long windy roads. The Lord levels mountains, and He makes our paths straight!
I'm just on their 'waves' waiting list and I'm already thinking about jumping ship. They don't allow anyone to contact them via a phone call to speak to someone in customer service.
I would rate their customer service as abysmal.
Cellular Calling: 9
WiFi Calling: 8
Cellular Data:9
WiFi Data: 10
SMS: 9
MMS: ?
UI: 7
Total: 7.43
I would recommend Republic Wireless to others.
Even as part of the first beta the cell calling was the same as any other cell call.
Since the first run on the LG Optimus the call quality has improved, I have no echoing on my phone but still a little hissing in the background, texting I never had problems with on the LG or on the new Defy, and still rating MMS, never sent one on this phone, they say this function should have been added in the update.
Had the picture come straight through I would have given it a ten, that didn't happen, if it comes through at all I'll give it a 8, if it doesn't come through at all a zero, but any way it goes it doesn't much matter because I almost never send pictures from any of my phones, just texts.
And it looks like MMS does not work.
All said, a 7.4 is not a bad score since I would have given USCC a 5 for their service while under contract, I had no data, no text and no unlimited talk of any kind and was paying aprox 70.00 a month. And that was about 3 or 4 years ago.
As bad as people seem to think this service is. I would, will and do use it instead of any contract service. And even for a MVNO it's price is hard to top.
All this and they are supposed to be coming out with better phones this year and are working on a BYOP program, and it they get that going, I have a boost phone with RWs name on it.
