iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) and Modem Firmware 1.0.13...should I update it?

I just bought a brand new confirmed factory unlocked 4s from a pvt seller. Should I update the iphone to 5.1.1 or just leave as it is?

I guess the question is: is 5.1.1 significantly better than 5.0.1?

If you're factory-unlocked there's really no good reason not to keep your firmware up-to-date. While there aren't any significant new features in iOS 5.1 and 5.1.1, they do fix certain performance issues and patch known security flaws.

For some (myself particularly) the "feature" in 5.1 to include a camera control in the lock screen can be a disadvantage. On several occasions taking my iPhone out of my pocket I find that my camera has been on. One point it even took a picture in my pocket. Not one of my favorite features of 5.1.
