Screen Flickering and Darkened! PLEASE HELP

Hi, well today I was using my phone [Android i9220] (playing the sims) and suddenly the screen went a lot darker (I thought it was the game) but when I closed it my whole screen was darker and flickering as if I had hit it with something. I've never dropped my phone or hit it. Now it flickers and has darker pixels towards the middle of the screen. Sometimes it stops flickering but the colors of the screen are just wrong as well as the brightness. PLEASE HELP ME! What could have caused this?

Sometimes hardware problems just happen out of the blue. That's what it sounds like to me. If possible, take the phone back where you got it and see if they can do anything.
