Something similar happened to me. Place just east of University on Dundas. Not sure what it is called but they charge $80.
I'm just gonna get myself a new phone...

Fell on concrete yesterday while my Blackberry 9700 was in my back pocket.
The Gorilla glass is ok but the LCD screen below is cracked and useless.
Phone works fine otherwise (can make/receive calls, voice dialing works, etc...).
Any recommendations as to where to take the phone to get a new LCD installed, and rough idea as to $$$??
I'm in midtown Toronto.
Thanks

Unless you purchase the part and install it yourself, it might not be worth paying someone to make the repair for you. It's not uncommon to be able to buy used Blackberry 9700 phones for in the $100-$130 price range.

As mentioned in the other thread, definitely not worth the price.
ebay has the replacements for $10, but shipping takes forever.
I'm still waiting for 9300 replacement for almost 3 weeks now from China.
I got the LCD yesterday. Took all but 10 minutes to replace (there are dozens of videos on Youtube with instructions).
