The battery is good for 3-4 hours.
The signal range of the Wifi is average (comparable to the hotspot features on smartphones|). Nothing like a brand name router.

I'm thinking about getting the Huawei E583 with the Surf a Little plan. What is this device like?

I carry the Huawei everywhere I go. I find it better than data on the phone because I have never roam on the Huawei by accident. (I have roam on data on the phone by accident many times).

LOL, I don't think the results will be much different than those of the GNEX or Amaze "4G".
Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.
Unless you enjoy surfing at 200kbps/10kbps I don't know why you would use Wind for data. If you are lucky you might get 1.2 Mbps but that's only in select areas.
