    Activating an iphone

    I an an mts customer and I'm thinking of buying a iphone. Is it possible to activate it myself?

    If you have a valid micro-sim card, yes. If you're on iOS before 5.0 you have to plug your phone into a computer with itunes. If you're on iOS 5.0 or higher (current version is 5.1.1) you can connect to a wifi network and activate that way.
