LG800G - T9 Word question: how to cycle to another suggested word

I'm a new LG 800G owner. T9 Word input works great -- EXCEPT -- how to do you cycle to a different suggested word?

For instance, when I want to type "me" I get "of" put in. How do I cycle to the next suggested word (like other cell phones).

Also, how do I easily do contractions (like "I'm") easily

I got this phone earlier today and had the same question. Hoping you've figured it out - as this was the first google result I thought I'd make a reply with what I've found out. To cycle through, just tap the word you've typed. It should still be in a grey box. If you're accurate, it opens a list of words that the computer didn't use. So if you're trying to type 'me' and it shows up 'of', then tap 'of' in the box and choose your word!
