Bobsled Calling not supported on Optimus-T?

Trying to save some money with VoIP solutions. Bobsled seems to be getting good reviews but I can't find it through Google Play. Was it never supported to begin with?

There is no use. The download link just redirects to Google Play.

Google play say Bobsled Calling is not compatible with my Optimus T. (However Bobsled messaging is...) The question is: Why?

    Thank-you for this post.
I looked into it and on most of my Android phones calling is not supported but on a cracked screen HTC EVO I got at a garage sale for $5 it works perfectly.
I don't have service on this phone and just use it as a WiFi device.
Now it is even more useful.
I called my Mom and she said I sounded good and she also sounded good.
    No delay and no echo.
I was using speaker phone like I always do.

Sent from my HTC EVO 4G
    Very Happy With T~Mobile

Curious about if anyone who has gotten Bobsled calling to work, what kind of phone number did they assign to you?

I called my Google Voice number to see what number I had from Bobsled and when I used White Pages Reverse Look~up it listed the number as being a landline and from the Boston Massachusetts area. I am in the metro Detroit area.
The previous owner of this phone had a local to me number.

I use it on my iPhone on T-Mobile, it's really choppy on EDGE which is to be expected. They don't give you a personal number so if someone calls the number back it gives you a whole automated thing saying someone called you through bobsled and you can have your number blocked from this service if you don't want to be called though it.

    Thanks!
Silly me didn't think to try calling the number back.
I just did through my Google Voice calling feature.
It was just as you stated.

I am calling through Bobsled using WiFi at home from a phone that does not have service so the call quality is very good.
