iPhone 4 Scrambling calls

Hello All

I wanted to see if anyone else is having their IPHONE 4 (I am on AT&T) scrambling calls. I will be in the middle of a conversations - and it'll sound like the call is with aliens!!! (or that I am a top secret spy and the call is being scrambled) it seems to be happening more often (several times a week) - even when I am sitting in my office (ie not changing cell towers etc. from driving). I have to end the call and call them back. I am not sure if the other party hears the 'noises' or not

Any idea how to fix this?

Where do you live? This sounds like a network issue to me.
