    Living in Germany soon, what carrier should I use?

    This website is massive, took me a while to find the this section, a friend recommended I ask my questions here. I currrently have a Motorola Pro Plus Android Gingerbread device. I would like to get a HTC One X, but my primary question is, what carrier should I go with? I will be there for a couple of years, should I get an LTE 4G device? Is it worth paying for those speeds? anyways just thought id ask here instead of going into a store being deceived by those snake salesmen, thanks!

    In general, Germany offers you 4 major carriers (T-Mobile, Vodafone, o2 and E-Plus) and tens of MVNOs. As I moved a couple of times in the past years, I figured out that calling home with Skype via smartphone is a good thing (which always made me stick to an iPhone TBH). If you consider doing the same via 3G, I would pick T-Mobile or Vodafone, as they have the best network. T-Mobile offers you some decent packages including flat rates to landlines of some foreign countries (like US) as well. Take a look at
