Are you guys selling the maxx at $199, the bionic for free, and the droid 4 for $99? What the hell is Verizon doing?

Should be doable when the new comp plan comes out. For now, no. No longer carry the Bionic as commissions have been going down and I consider it an outdated device now. Can't match the Maxx and hadn't seen the 4 for that price. Looks like there are now $50 rebates on the Droid 4 and Razr. I can match the Droid 4 with that. The Razr appears to have a $50 spiff still here so I can match it but would rather not make only $30.

We've been pushing Nexus. It's a better phone than all of these gimmicky "Droids", and with the current comp in our market, it's a big win for us.

We focus on the steady iPhone (catching lots of crap from papa Verizon) but it gives the most consistent return, highest accessory and insurance take rates out there and we don't have to play the how much is a droid today game.

ditto. Our grand master doesn't want us selling the Apple money train, but we end up selling that more than anything else just due to the fact that iPhone sales are stickier than any other phone out there during the chargeback period.

This. The LG Spectrum, Nexus, and Rezound are the best paying devices for me right now.

Droid Pro and Droid 3? I haven't carried those in MONTHS. The Rezound has great reviews.

Haha. Older and junk or junk and older does not mean older = junk or junk = older. In my opinion, if those devices came out yesterday they would still be junk. Best of luck to you.

Both the 3 and Pro are great phones, and very reliable. And high money makers.

So no, I don't feel bad in the least bit. If people aren't educated enough to know what device they want, 99/100 they don't even know the difference between the Pro and the MAXX, except one has a physical keyboard.

At least I'm not selling them Samsung phones, I would feel horrible about that.
