if it is bad as in stolen no it won't work. If it is bad as in deadbeat account it might work.

itll work no matter what. I used to see people activate hot phones all the time. The issues is that there needs to be a national database.
My HTC Moguls's speed test signal with Cricket EVDO Tests in 2007.
Cricket throttles their network and I only get 300k now

keyword there is USED to. verizon, sprint, and cricket share stolen ESN lists. Even if a stolen phone is returned to the carrier it is just recycled for parts but the ESN is blacklisted for good.

what should Peedi expect in the event that it is flashed? will it work as it did on Verizon taking into consideration the degradation of service, of course?

Incorrect. I remember Valuetech Outsourcing phones with CHIP history's of being recovered several times. I dont know who you are getting your info from but that information is not factual. Carriers refurb those phones all day long. I'll check today with a known lost VZW ESN I have on an extra account

Ok so im getting the iphone 4s sometime this week with a bad verizon esn from a friend, can this be used on cricket? I've seen eBay ads that offer the flash. Also I saw that Virgin mobile offers plans for iPhone 4. Could I flash it on Virgin mobile?
