iMessage not sending pictures on iPhone 3GS iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken. Need help.
I have a iphone 3gs running ios 5.1.1 and his jailbroken. I am using straight talk service. Everthing else seems to be working but the imessage. I can receive imessages but can't send them. the screen say they are delivered but the person i send to does not get anything. anyone can help out?
Thanks in advance
It might be that since your MMS is not working correctly, iMessage somehow is effected. Follow the methods listed in the wiki I linked in your other post. Turn off iMessage while making the changes and once you reboot and test that MMS is working turn iMessage back on to test.

Thanks overdrive31. I searched and found the wiki post you linked on my own yesterday and got MMS to work. I didn't check back on my first post for any responses But now that MMs is now working The problem now is I can receive photos text via imessage but nobody gets my photos when I send them even though the screen say it was delivered. The other person does have a working imessager. meanwhile as I try and figure this out I can use the text and sms.
How did you activate the phone? Is it carrier unlocked and you activated using the ST sim or did you activate with ATT sim then put in the ST sim? Restore from a backup? If you activated with the ATT sim or restored from a backup, you can try fixing it with SAM.
You can try asking someone to disable iMsg while you send them just one SMS, then have them enable iMsg to see if that makes a difference.
When I carrier unlocked my phone I still had to use SAM for push certs to function(before using SAM, they were created and unique, just didn't work) and iMsg certs are created the same way, so you might try that.
OK i think I'm see light at the end of the tunnel. I tried imessaging a different person and she got my imessage so that leads me to believe at this time that the problem is not on my end but on the end of the first person who said they was not getting my imessage. Thanks overdrive31 and I will keep posted if this is indeed the corrupt or not.
Sometimes people upgrade to a new model iPhone and keep the other around as an iPod. If iMessage is still enabled on that device or an iPod with the same Apple ID, the active iPhone could miss iMessages. When the message is delivered to any of the devices with the Apple ID, no further attempts at delivery are made.

Thanks for weighing in earl. I will investigate and see.
