    LTE Data Plan

Hi everybody I need some help!!!

I have a family plan with Rogers with 3g of shared data. We currently have a blackberry 9900, iphone 4s and iphone 4. If I change my plan to LTE Data because I am upgrading my iphone 4 to the galaxy sII lte, will the other 2 devices work with LTE. Thanks

No? LOL, they are not LTE devices so no, they will continue to operate on HSPA

    LTE access requires:

    LTE SIM
    LTE Phone
    LTE compatible rate-plan

I'd also wait 3 weeks and get the SGS3 rather than the SGS2 LTE.

An LTE phone with an LTE SIM without an LTE compatible data plan on Rogers will leave you with HSPA and EDGE only.

Carriers have not way at this point to stop a LTE sim from getting on LTE service.
If you would like to test, get an LTE phone and someone who is not on LTE service. Put in an LTE Sim with a regular data plan and LTE will show up.

Just get the phone and when you get it, ask for a LTE Sim card. Keep your data plan as is.
In the mobile setting, set to auto LTE, HSPA, 3G and Edge. If you are in LTE coverage, you will get either LTE of 4G

What are the LTE data plan options?

I tried but on Rogers.com but that site is useless and I can't find anything.

So what are all the different LTE data plan options? (data add-ons for a phone)

Or I heard a rumour that you will get LTE speeds with just a LTE device and LTE SIM. Thats not correct is it?

No point trying to convince this person; it won't help.

When I got my SGS 2 LTE and an LTE sim card I had to call in and change my plan in order to activate LTE service. All aspects of my plan remained the same, but LTE had to be requested at the time.

Anyone on an older rate plan from before LTE service was activated will have to change their plan. Anyone who is on a rate plan that was activated after LTE service was activated will have access to LTE.

Well I'll report back in a couple hours after I switch to my LTE SIM and settle it.

I am not on LTE plan, but I am using an LTE with LTE speeds... so you go figure that one out...
The phone will update me with GSM, Edge, 4G and LTE (majority of the time) depending on where I am in the city.

I am not the only one in this situation.

I'm not going to get in a useless flame war with you.
Unless you work for Rogers and are a techie, I would not be posting stuff you cannot backup.
