Im having a hard time choosing a GSM cellphone....HELP!

    Hello,

Im looking for a cellphone that is GSM that I can use with my ATT&T or T-Mobile pre-paid cards.Im an ex-cricket service user and have not been keeping up with the latest & greatest phones & features. The best that I came up with was the Palm Pixi plus, which was recommended to me but Im having no luck in finding one that isn't either doesn't work,or out of stock do to the fact that their a discontinued model.

Im basically looking for a phone that has is:
-Simple,cellphone that has a camera,I can get a data plan for,and that is up to date without it being the latest, overpriced phone.
-Im also trying to shy away from Android phones,if possible....
-GSM(I can used either ATT&T or T-mobile card)
    -un-locked
    -reasonably priced
-Wont be hard to get it turned on or use after a year.

Im just kinda not sure what to get or look for at this moment...but I need a cellphone.

    Thanks,for the help and suggestions.

Why no love for Android? A friend of mine recently bought a Samsung Exhibit II 4G (yes it's an Android) and she loves it. She never had a smartphone before and says that it was easy enough to get used to the virtual keyboard.

The phone will support both T-Mobile's and AT&T's 3G bands, once it's unlocked. It's also not pricey, but still good quality for less than $200.

Android smartphones are cheaper compared to other smartphone. You can get android smartphones within the range of $99 - $200. You can check out Samsung-15500, LG Optimus GT540 and Sony Ericson XPERIA X10 and would be easy to use even after a year.
HTC One S comes within the $200 range and it runs on Android 4.0. Samsung Galaxy Nexus also falls under the prescribed range. It is compatible with 4G LTE network which is very good.

The LTE Galaxy Nexus is a CDMA/LTE phone that only works on Verizon OR Sprint, depending in which one you get.

The Galaxy Nexus you would want is the unlocked, pentaband, HSPA+ version.
