Will U.S bought unlocked Galaxy work in South Korea?

I am considering buying an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy Skyrocket or Galaxy Note here in the U.S. and then taking it to Korea to use during a 3 month visit. Will it work over there with a Korean SIM??

If it supports WCDMA (aka 3G/HSPA on 2100MHz band) then yes it will work.

You can get a KT Olleh prepaid SIM card, worked flawlessly on my Xperia Ray and HTC One X. All it needs is a special APN, but the people at the shop are nice enough to configure it for you.

TadMorose: Look at his signature. My best guess is that is some sort of spammer (human or not) that's trying to peddle signal boosters. There is however some countermeasure that prevents a link from being posted.
